About nügg

Our Mission

nügg’s mission is to provide top quality skin treatments at affordable prices and in innovative, cute and unique packaging for outstanding and honest value for money (little nüggets of goodness for your skin). All our products are over 93% natural or naturally derived and formulated without mineral oils, parabens, synthetic fragrances and colors. We formulate in gentle yet effective ways that are truly good for your skin and help enhance your skin barrier function. Since our launch in 2014, we have been incredibly fortunate to have won the Allure Best of Beauty Award every year.

We are a women owned and run company and we believe in working hard, doing the right things for the right reasons, being humble and giving back to the community.

We do not believe in “one hit wonder” products that derive their “reason to be” just from being different without offering superior product performance, but we believe in building a top performing, trustworthy and credible skin treatment assortment through products that are truly outstanding.

We have experienced for ourselves what a game changer masking 2 to 3 times a week has been for our skin and thus are determined to spread the word that regular masking with nügg face masks will transform your skin by enhancing your skin barrier function, boosting your skin’s moisture levels and nourishing your skin with targeted ingredients.

    Social Responsibility

Although we are a young company, giving back to the community has always been incredibly important to us from day one. No matter what the future may hold or how much we grow, this will always ring true as one of our core beliefs. As a company run by women, one of our primary focuses is female equality & empowerment.

Our promise is to always treat people with kindness, to do business in a kind way and give back to people who are in need. We believe in working hard, doing the right things for the right reasons and in being humble.

We are committed to donate a minimum of 1% of our profits or 2.5% of our web sales (whichever number is higher) to causes we believe in such as:

  • Cancerandcareers -
  • Long Island Harvest -

    Our Founder

The idea for nügg Face Masks was born on a flight from Shanghai to New York that left our Founder, Conny Wittke, and her skin completely exhausted. As CEO & President of Tweezerman International at the time and with over 10 years experience in the industry she was, and still is, constantly jet setting across the world, picking up on all the latest and greatest beauty trends. During that time she noticed a big void in the market for truly high quality face masks that weren’t only super easy to use, but also extremely travel-friendly. The pod-style packaging was perfect. Just like a small packet of jelly, it could easily fit just about anywhere. She then set out to create fantastic formulations with as much natural ingredients as possible without compromising the performance of the products and all that at accessible price points: true “nüggets” of goodness for your skin, whenever you need it.
